Early dinner today. Judy was hungry as we had skipped lunch.
Chicken noodle soup and salad bar both good with bow tie pasta salad with olives and capers. This was followed by surf and turf … tempura shrimp and Teriyaki NY Strip (I still have half the strip for steak and eggs in AM at our condo).
The 
Shrimp was excellent! We were sure to consume them right away while at their freshest! My only comment on steak was both were ordered Medium Rare. Judy’s (thicker) was perfect. Mine, thinner, was more medium.
We followed up with chocolate lava cake… a very prevalent dessert on this volcanic island… who would have thunk?
All-in-all a good early meal in Waimea town.
