While taking an uber from the Ferry following wine, tasting on Waheke island, Judy and I were discussing Thai for dinner. The Uber driver commented that #MaiThai on Victoria was an excellent family run Thai restaurat and only a block from our hotel. We had them on our list of potentials and the drivers observation cemented it for us. So off we went. And we were not disappointed.
We had Shrimp and mushroom based soup, shrimp rolls, lamb musaman, sizzling lamb chops (Did I mention we like lamb?)
And drinks of course.
So if you are thinking Thai and are across the street from the Auckland Skytower in New Zealand, well, this place is worth checking out.
Just be aware…stairs are required.
